Specialized Trauma Interventions Program (STIP) is a mental health interventions & Behavioral Health program for Men and Women (Seperate program units for women and men), age 25+ that provides mental health and related support services to individuals whom has been abstinent from illicit substances for at least 6 months whom presents with a diagnosed and documented history of trauma. Each trauma intervention program unit (male and female) addresses gender related issues as they regard the individual's trauma history and profile.
At Behavioral Health Interventions of Greater St. Louis, each of our programs are designed and overseen by a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including physicians, psychiatrists, social workers, specialty counselors, nurses, adjunctive therapists, and dieticians. We seek to effectively address a variety of Emotional Trauma issues in order to help patients become more stable and help them and their families manage these issues towards positive outcomes.
The Specialized Trauma Interventions Program is a community-based rehabilitation program working with adults suffering from a history of documented and diagnosed trauma. mental. The program provides a wide array of services to clients. These include psychoeducation, advocacy and case management, medication management and psychiatric support, and recreational programs.
Comprehensive, community-based mental health services for adults with Trauma issues serves to help the client achieve maximum level of functioning, minimize symptoms, reduce frequency of post-Traumatic Stress Disorder episodes and enhance their recovery.

Please note that:
Client may be recommeded for theses services, based on the outcomes of their diagnostic evaluations, their assessments,and a combination of other factors observed by the clinical evaluations and treatment team. In addition, assessements and evaluations are ongoing for the benfits of evaluationg and monitoring the continuum of the client's treatment.
Attention Clients,Families and Referral Sources:
Individuals must have in their possession at the time of their intake, a state issued Identification Card/Driver’s License, a Referral from a Community agency verifying their residency in Missouri, as well as a Social Security Card. The individual’s Social Security Number must as well be verifiable through the Assessment System.
