Specialized Mens' Outpatient Program-(SMOP)
Welcome to Our
Specialized Men's Outpatient Program-(SMOP)
The Intensive Outpatient Program (SMOP) is designed for Adult Men who need organized treatment services and can do this within the context of their usual environment. This program combines the benefits of intensive care with the flexibility of outpatient hours. IOP is an ideal level of mental health treatment for adult women struggling with symptoms of mental illness that are interfering with their daily living and are not manageable in weekly therapy or medication management. Patients participate in group programming, while working on an individualized treatment plan. Treatment is supported by a multi-disciplinary team including Psychiatrists, Therapists, Social Workers, as well as other Clinicians and Support Staff.
Potential patients for IOP first go through an Admissions Diagnostic Assessment. This assessment identifies the treatment modalities that could be most beneficial in treatment. The SWOP-IOP Program offers multiple tracks of therapeutic programming including the treatment modalities of: Adapted Dialectical Behavior Therapy (A-DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and therapy integrating the needs of those living with mental illness and chemical dependency.
