The Co-Occurring Disorders Interventions Program is a mental health interventions & Behavioral Health program specifically for indeividuals age 25+ that provides mental health and related support services to men whom has been abstinent from illicit substances for at least 6 months whom presents with a diagnosed and documented history of Co-Occurring disorders. The Co-Occurring Disorders program addresses issues that are gender specific, thus we have gender specific treatment units for men and women.
Getting the proper care and attention to mental health issues can be challenging. At Behavioral Health Interventions of Greater St. Louis, we empower our clients to overcome these challenges. We provide co-occurring disorders interventions and related services within and around the Metropolitan St. Louis and surrounding areas in Missouri. Our program utilizes a multidisciplinary approach to treatment, which gives clients the support they need to achieve a meaningful recovery.
Our services are available to adults that are suffering from the symptomologies of the dual diagnosis disorer. Our goal is to provide quality care as we treat all clients with the dignity they deserve.Every individual is a unique being in his/her own right. clients in our program will receive treatment and care in a manner that addresses their specific needs. Our program offers interventions at various levels of care, including intensive clincial case management and outpatient counseling services, to accommodate the needs and severity of each clients diagnosis-specific condition(s).Treatment emphasizes crisis stabilization, development of coping strategies, skill-building, and psychiatric medication management. Our treatment team work closely with clients to develop a personalized treatment plan. consequently, clients will gain the tools and skills needed to sufficiently address mental health challenges and prevent relapse. In addition, our continuum of care includes an aftercare intervention to help clients reintegrate into society.

Please note that:
Client may be recommeded for theses services, based on the outcomes of their diagnostic evaluations, their assessments,and a combination of other factors observed by the clinical evaluations and treatment team. In addition, assessements and evaluations are ongoing for the benfits of evaluationg and monitoring the continuum of the client's treatment.
Attention Clients,Families and Referral Sources:
Individuals must have in their possession at the time of their intake, a state issued Identification Card/Drivers License, a Referral from a Community agency verifying their residency in Missouri, as well as the clients social security card. The clients Social Security Number must as well be verifiable through the Assessment System.
